“The First Code” is the key to understanding Ukrainian IT, a documentary film about an industry that has grown over decades, but managed to gain a foothold not only locally, but also in the very heart of the technology center — Silicon Valley.

We invite you to a closed screening of the film, a time-travel story that begins in the 50s – from the creation of the first computer by Ukrainian engineers – and continues to the present day. The First Code will tell about the mastodons of Ukrainian IT, the stormy 90s, the challenges of generations of IT workers and the creation and activity of “cyber armies” after the full-scale invasion of russia.
